Tartan Blanket Co. is a local business based in Leith, Edinburgh. Their B Corp certification ensures they are meeting high standards of social and environmental impact.

Our collaboration with Tartan Blanket Co., featuring three products with the official University of Edinburgh tartan, is made of 70% recycled wool. The wool is sourced and woven in India and Inner Mongolia, at two sustainably run, family owned mills that support the local community by creating jobs. Tartan Blanket Co. found that their partner mills offer a more sustainable and transparent production process than local, Scottish mills. The remaining percentage comes from man made recycled fibres that would otherwise end up in landfill, such as preloved polyester shirts.
