We use both Royal Mail and DHL for domestic deliveries giving you the choice of how you would like your parcel delivered. Your order may be delivered any time between 7am and 9pm with a signature required upon receipt. Delivery times are dependant on the service selected, and are subject to change at peak times of the year, such as Christmas. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver on a bank holidays, in this instance please expect your order to arrive on the following working day.

All deliveries to countries within the EU will be by DHL, and will be made in 3-7 working days, depending on the internal post service timescales of the destination country. Delays at customs and international distribution centres can cause this to vary.
As a result of circumstances related to Brexit, please note that you will be liable for the additional VAT or customs charges which will be applied to your order once it has left the UK. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are liable for these charges. If the recipient refuses to pay any additional charges, the parcel will be disposed of by the postal service and no refund will be due.

Collection Orders
Collection Orders
After you place your order for collection, you will receive an email letting you when your order is ready to collect. Orders are normally ready the following working day.
When you arrive at the store, we will ask for your order number, which you can find in your order confirmation email.
Please note, we can only hold collection orders for a maximum of 28 days, after which the order will be cancelled and refunded. If you are unable to collect your order within 28 days, please get in touch to let us know.

The carrier bag charge
To comply with the Scottish Government requirements for retailers, we have introduced a bag charge policy for click and collect orders from the Visitor Centre and Gift Shop.
Although our carrier bags are made from fully recyclable and natural, undyed paper, we want to do more to support positive climate action. We are donating the money raised from the carrier bag charge to local organisations helping to combat the effects of climate change.
Where does the 10p go?
The money raised from the carrier bag charge will be donated to local organisations through the University’s Community Grants scheme.
