Made in Scotland, this 100% wool bowtie features the official Edinburgh Medical School tartan.

Designed by a student at the Edinburgh College of Art, the tartan features red and yellow symbolising blood, the liver, and pus, the traditional colours of Edinburgh Medical School. Purple lines mark the admission of women in 1869, while triple red lines represent the influence of the University of Padua and 300 years of scientific progress in Edinburgh.
